View MoreFort Report – August 2021 30 shooters joined us yesterday out at The Fort for our August Monthly Match. The weather was surprisingly (for August) pleasant and overcast for most of the day with just enough breeze to make the high humidity a nonfactor. The covered stages and fans also helped to make this month’s match a very fun day for all who attended. If you didn’t make it out this month, you missed out on lots of action! We had to open the mercantile windows, there was downrange movement galore, a swinger for rifle & pistols, split pistols with up range movement AND knockdowns, a rifle plate rack, a Musketeer sweep, we played tic-tac-toe, and shot a boomerang. This was an action lovers' dream! We had 5 shooters with Clean Matches: Yadkin Hawks, Lead Paint, Lightload, Bisley, and Delta Glen. A Dagnabit to Marshal Dan Troop, Blazing Saddles, Confederate Colt, and The Outlaw Travis James. Congratulations to our Top Lady Midwest Hale and our August Top Gun was Arcadia Outlaw. The Top 5 was rounded out by Delta Glen, The Outlaw Travis James. Bucky Buckskin, and Confederate Colt, respectively. The Top 3 Ladies were completed by Chickie Winsome and Sure Shot Shawanda.
