View MoreREMINDER - Panhandle Cattle Company April Match - TOMORROW Saturday May 1 2021 Come out tomorrow, Saturday May 1st, for our April match! Thankfully, Mother Nature has agreed to cooperate with a great weather forecast. Ted Everett, the owner of our range & president of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, is hosting BBQ In The Pines. Our match will be part of his event - check out the video at https://www.facebook.com/BBQINTHEPINES/videos/450309612725362/ . The festival opens at 10:00 AM CDT, so we have made a few minor adjustments to our usual match schedule. Signup will start at 9:00 AM CDT, safety briefing will begin at 9:45 AM CDT & first rounds will go downrange as soon as possible after the briefing. The match will be 6 stages & will use 50 pistol, 50 rifle & at least 20 shotgun rounds. Stage descriptions can be viewed at https://www.panhandlecattleco.com/downloads/ as well as in our photo gallery here at ASN. Please note that they may change, to allow for changing weather conditions. Please use the 2nd entrance (not Ted's driveway) - look for the signs. When you enter the gate there, tell the gate attendants that you are with the cowboy shooters & you won't have to pay an entry fee. Also, please park on the side of the field closest to the outhouse - that will free up the other side of the range for the festival vendors. As a reminder, we are back to full cowboy dress. We want to look good for the festival, so let's go all out on our outfits. Be sure to bring snacks & soft drinks for yourself. There will be water & Gatorade on hand at the range, but the supplies will be limited. After the match, for those who would like to help, we will keep the range open to allow the spectators to try their hands at cowboy action shooting.
