The annual “Shootout at the OK Corral” went down in Okeechobee, Florida on 01/23/2021. The match featured eight great stages with plenty of movement, variety, and tie-ins with the theme of the match: “Ladies of the Old West.” Though an unfortunate squib on Stage 3 single-handedly tanked my score, I was pleasantly surprised with my times on many of the other stages which cemented by decision to continue shooting Gunfighter going forward. (It was also the perfect excuse to switch to my new Winchester/Miroku 1866 halfway through the match and shoot it for the first time!) Big thanks to the OTJ, Chickie Winsome, and JP Law for the third-person perspectives.

I have watched the "squib" video many times and I cannot see anything on it that would indicate the primer ever igniting. There is literally no sound. I did not hear one live either. We are going to dub this one the "Silent Squib"

Nice runs. I have to say I'm very intrigued by your shooters view camera. Can you please tell me more about it? Thanks in advance, Yeti.

Thank you! I wear a pair of Snapchat Spectacles — specifically the "Nico" variant — while shooting. It can record ten-second clips up to a maximum of 30 seconds at a time using a small camera mounted in the right side of the frame. They are not specifically designed for shooting sports and are in fa... View More
