We still have a final coat of paint to get on the... View MoreDang October already! Things are coming along at the range. The new Town Hall/Marshals office is in place and about half way finished on the inside. We still have a final coat of paint to get on the outside and build a deck but we are close to being finished. Our annual match (the 19th Annual Shootout on the Santa Fe) is coming up November 8th & 9th, once that is over it will be full steam ahead till Darkness Falls and A Dark Day On The Santa Fe. We have a little berm work that work that’s going to get done between stages 2 and 3 and move the loading table on stage 3 to give us a little more shooting depth in the bay. We thinking about dusting off our old outhouse prop and maybe even setting up a pair of saloon doors. Since we’ll not have any major building projects live we’ve had in the past there just aint no tellin what sorta props we might have next year. There are still some dry camping spots open on the range for those who are interested. Please contact Yadkin Hawks at remelt@comcast.net to get your name on the list. Don’t forget about the wedding during the Friday night banquet. I will be chatting with Georgia Gypsy and Pale Ale Rider in a couple of weeks at Ambush to work on sowing up some of the plans for that. Speaking of Ambush, Deadwood Blackie, Cheatin’ Chamberlin and myself will be up at The Southeastern Regional later this month. Come see us at vendor row, you never know what we might be giving away! It is official, the Ides of March is hosting the Florida State Championship next year. What does that mean for you? If you have the time hang around for the following weekend you’ll have the opportunity so shoot for five days and 26 stages.
