The Lake County Pistoleros and the Eustis Gun Club are pleased to announce that The Ides of March 2024, will be the SASS Florida State Cowboy Action Shooting Championship. Anyone on the range with you will need to complete a waiver (even if they are not shooting).

One shooting flight – Match limited to 225 shooters

Categories

Available categories are listed on the application. Categories must have a minimum of 3 shooters, otherwise they will NOT be honored. Age based categories will be offered once the prior category is at 5 shooters.

• JOSEY WALES – 4 pistols and shotgun – Pistols must be shot Duelist or Gunfighter style only. Only one category, not male/female.

Awards Social Hour

4-6pm at the Eustis Elks Lodge

Cash Bar, Bar Bites available for purchase. Awards will be given out on Saturday during the Social Hour, there is no dinner.   We will award a maximum of 5 deep per category.  6+ shooters, we will award up to 5th place, 5 shooters, up to 4th place, 4 shooters, up to 3rd  place, 3 shooters, up to 2nd  place, 2 shooters, 1st  place only will be awarded.

Posse Requests

If you wish to posse with someone, please indicate the person’s ALIAS on the “Posse Me With” line on the registration form. Do NOT put down a club name or location (ex. “Other folks from PA” or “Roughshod Raiders”).  Trust me, we are not aware of who is a member of every club in the US; therefore, you may not end up with the folks you want to be with if you go that route! This is a request only and we will do our best, but it’s not guaranteed.

SASS Scholarship Fundraiser 

A bucket will be kept at registration – please consider donating a few dollars when you register. $10.00 per shooter 4 stage warm up match and $10.00 per shooter 4 stage black powder match – these fees will all be donated.

$5.00 - you can shoot all afternoon – best time wins. Awards will be given for Top Male/Female in:

4 stage mini-match – cost is $10.00 per shooter – Awards for Top Male and Top Female only – 830a-12n – you must pre-register.

Wild Bunch 4 stage mini-match – Thursday March 16th – 830a-12n - you must pre-register – Awards given – Top Male and Female in traditional and modern – Sponsored by Sassy Teton Lady and Deadwood Woody – no charge.

Black Powder 4 stage mini-match – Thursday March 16 th –
1230p-4pm - you must pre-register – Top Male and Female overall – $10.00 per shooter
 

**If you’re available to help RO a side match on Thursday afternoon, please notate it on your application. If we don’t have enough volunteers, certain side matches may be cancelled. Volunteer for 30 minute.

Main Clubhouse at the Range 

Camping

There is a limited number of DRY spaces available at the range. No water or electric, we do have water available to fill your freshwater tank before you settle in.  No sewer or dump station so come empty.  The nearest dump station is several miles away. You must pre-register and pay. We also need you to provide size of trailer/camper/etc. You may arrive Tuesday March 12 th and must depart by Monday March 18 th . There is NO ALCOHOL allowed on EGC property at any time, please abide by this as I’d hate to ask anyone to leave. Before paying, please verify with Greta (gretadee1@gmail.com or 407-592-5108) that there is still space available.

RANGE RULE – NO ALCOHOL on range at any time.

Match Info

Scoring will be based on total time.  You are responsible for your scores, sign the iPad. 5 stages Friday and Saturday, March 15- 16th – Top Gun shoot-off Sunday, March 17th.  
Costume Contest – Judging will occur during match shooting times – you do not need to enter.
